We Three Kings is a symphonic fantasy based on the classic Christmas carol by John Henry Hopkins Jr., offering a colorful and dramatic addition to holiday programming. Vivid orchestral colors evoke the Magi’s journey, with each verse distinguished by its own musical character and atmosphere. Contrasting instrumental textures, shifting moods, and symphonic development transform the familiar melody into a continuous orchestral narrative, building toward a triumphant conclusion. The work combines the familiarity of a beloved Christmas carol with the drama and scale of the symphonic tradition.
